The end of telephone tag and the paper chase
XDS™ Data Services

With Data Services, forwarders get POD data and invoices
updated into their tracking and A/P system, automatically –
on 100% of their shipments, from every one of their truckers.

Here is how it works:

The forwarder sends Ex Works simple data from
their existing operational systems when they give a
    shipment to a trucker.

The trucker enters (or transmits) the POD and billing
into Ex Works – which is immediately audited.
Truckers make any corrections needed, and POD
and the billing that is automatically approved flows
directly to the forwarder’s tracking and A/P systems.

The forwarder’s employees deal only with
exceptions – for example, approving additional
    charges for waiting time.

The bottom line for the forwarder?

Station staff spend their time bringing value to your
clients instead of managing mountains of paper
    and data entry.

Truckers are paid exactly what they are owed – every
transaction is audited to the penny according the
    current tariff.

And the forwarder’s customer learns that 100% of
the PODs are waiting in their on-line tracking
system – just like FedEx, UPS or DHL Express.

Most forwarders find they can redeploy an average of one
employee per station.
Forwarder-designed…trucker-friendly
XVM™ Vendor Management

Vendor Management helps forwarders gain immediate access
and control over the rates and profile information from the
thousands of specialized truckers who serve their industry.

It works like this:

Truckers enter their rates and profile information into a
standardized format.  While the data required was
specified by the leading forwarders in the world -- the
program was designed for the efficiency and convenience
of  the truckers.  Most complete the process in just two or
    three hours.

As time goes on and conditions change, truckers update
their information.  Both forwarder and trucker share a
current and common database of information, as well as
an accurate archive of their agreements and a defined
business process for administering their business
    conditions.

What does this mean for the forwarder?  Fingertip access to the
information they need to manage their business better.

Pickup rates from Altoona, PA? Enter the weight, zip and
airport – and the rate of each approved trucker is
displayed, including fuel surcharge and accessorials.

Insurance certificate?  Click and print.  Fleet makeup?
Click and view.  More on compliance.

Need to know how different truckers costs compare on a
large market-basket of different shipments?  Push a
button, and you get your answer.

For the first time, forwarders have control over an enormous
span of information about truckers -- the trucking companies they
actually use.
